| Melanie Gibson trained locally from the age of three and progressed through the RAD syllabus before successfully qualifying as a teacher. Melanie has 16 years teaching experience and has achieved 100% pass rate with all pupils taking RAD examinations under her tuition. Many pupils have gone on to pursue further dance education and training at specialist colleges and universities. After the completion of her degree in Contemporary Arts, Melanie has worked within the public and private arts sector, nationally and internationally. Coupling this with her teaching experience she has an in-depth knowledge of the dance sector with a portfolio of opportunities for pupils to participate in (for example Royal Academy of Dance, English Youth Ballet, Royal Ballet School, Retina Dance Company). Melanie believes passionately in the benefits of dance and creating a safe and nurturing environment where each individual can achieve and enjoy. | Amy Webster began training at the age of two and worked through her RAD Ballet and IDTA Modern exams at a local school. She participated in numerous shows and competitions before moving to London to commence her professional training. Amy has worked with world-renowned teachers and choreographers including performing an original piece of work by the prestigious choreographer Rafael Bonachela. She has also performed alongside the world famous Jose Cura in the opera 'Samson and Dalila' at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Amy thoroughly enjoys choreography and upon graduating from Millennium Dance 2000 along with a Diploma in Performance, was also awarded the Choreography Award. Amy is a fully qualified and highly skilled teacher of dance, fluent in many dance genres. She has vast experience in both syllabus and free work, working across all age groups from young beginners to adults. |
